Hannah Goldstein readies a thoroughbred named Indy for a ride at Monterey Bay Horsemanship and Therapeutic Center on San Andreas Road on Tuesday. The horse was donated to the center after its former owner felt the horse was not a serviceable steed. Through care and commitment Indy has become a favorite mount for Goldstein and other riders at the La Selva Beach stable. Goldstein is one of many volunteers helping facilitate equine experiences for special needs children, teens and adults.
